Shepherd House Assembly International also known as Agape Power Assembly, was founded by Joshua Talena. The Church started in Jos, 1997.
The Vision of the church came to him in 1996, and he has this to say about it:
A time came in 1996 that the Lord spoke to me that he is preparing me to step aside to be a front-liner, a ground breaker, he is giving me an apostolic ministry, a fore front ministry, so 1997 was when we began the church, and then it was Agape Power Assembly a.k.a Shepherd House. But Shepherd’s House became a dominant name which swallowed the Agape Power Assembly.
Since then, the church remained in Jos, Plateau state until 2009 when it finally moved to Abuja Nigeria where the International Headquarter is.
The church has since then, grew to several thousands and has branches in several other states in Nigeria.
