Title : Much Comfort In Christ
Bible Book: Philemon 1:1-7
Memory Verse : “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.” 2 Corinthians 1:3
We leave in a world where people and group of people are in dire need of much desired comfort, individuals long to be comforted over personal, relationship and material issues, often times they turn to others who themselves are in bigger search of consolation in one area or the other.
Apostle Paul was very happy and comforted through the love a wealthy christian leader by name Philemon does showed to the saints in the Colossian church. Today, we also can receive constant consolation from the scriptures and even from the love of other saints, vs 7
Conclusion: When you are in need of any form or degree of consolation, turn to the scriptures and join the assembly of saints who are being led by the Spitit of God and you will not only find the much needed comfort you desire, but an overflowing comfort that will flow out to help and comfort others. 2 Corinthians 1:4
Prayer Point: “Heavenly Father, help me to comfort others today, through thy love in me”
Action Point: Reach out and comfort someone today, with the comfort God has comforted you.
