Biography Of Lolade Adeleke – Gospel Artist

Lolade Adeleke is a Popular Nigerian Gospel Recording Artist and Founder of True Love Music from Ogun State.

In an interview about her music career, Ololade Adeleke said:

“It started like a joke. I discovered I could sing very well when I was 7 years old. It was convenient for me because my dad was and is still a Pastor. Back in the days, I was the coordinator of the Teens Choir (Mountain Movers) in my church (RCCG, Abundant Life Parish Abeokuta, Ogun State). After a little while we (choir) started receiving invitations to minister in songs.” She said.

Some of these invitations led her to being invited to sing at the Governor’s chapel and RCCG Redemption Camp and even to South Africa.

Despite the challenges – combining school work and ministry – she never relented but kept believing God for new exploits every year.

In 2002, she founded True Love Music Ministry. Gospel music for Lolade is beyond the financial gratification. She created her music ministry to:
-minister to people through music
-encourage the broken-hearted
-declare the awesomeness of Jehovah

“God has indeed been faithful and I have recorded three (3) albums altogether. My first album was titled “TRUE LOVE” of which 4000 copies were sold.  I didn’t despise the small beginning so I went ahead to release the second album, titled “FOLAKEMI“. I sold 10,000 copies so far and it’s still selling.  My newest single track is titled “HAPPY YEAR“. This is a prayer song for everyone believing God for “open heaven” in their endeavors.” – says Ololade.

“Happy Year” is a blend of highlife music and it’s available for downloading or streaming via the following links:

Other than being a recording artist, she also accepts invitations for live performances of gospel songs.

To upcoming artists, she says “If you want to be great, let humility be your watchword”.

Ololade is an indigene of Ogun state, Nigeria. She is happily married with two kids.
