Bishop Dr. Wilfred Lai is the senior Pastor of Jesus Celebration Centre (JCC) Mombasa. He has pastored and raised JCC from a humble membership of 60 people, to the current position of more than 10,000 members. He is a widely respected conference speaker with an International Ministry. He has established churches in U.S.A, U.K. and all over Kenya. He is the pioneer of television ministry in Kenya and now runs a satellite T.V. station beaming the Gospel to the whole of Africa, parts of Europe and Middle East. He has held International and Interdenominational Pastors and Leaders Word Explosion Conference for over 20 years ministering to more than 50,000 people. He holds Prophetic Conferences that began in Kenya and now all over Africa where he ministers to the Pastors and other leaders. He established a Ministerial training (school of ministry) in Mombasa for training Ministers plus a regular school that composes of Junior School, Primary School and High School running from Bamburi centre. Bishop Lai is a dedicated and able teacher of the word of God and highly respected for his consistent and undivided commitment to the ministry.

He is married to Rita Lai, has two sons David (1982) and Daniel (1984).
