Benjamim “Ben” Kinchlow is an American evangelist best known for being co-host of The 700 Club from 1975 to 1988 and again from 1992 to 1996. He also hosted other shows on the Christian Broadcasting Network such as Straight Talk and a radio talk show, Taking It To The Streets. Kinchlow, the son of a Methodist minister, came to Christianity in the 1970s after a period as a Black Nationalist influenced by Malcolm X and the Black Muslims.
Ben was born (December 27, 1936) and raised in Uvalde, Texas, to a hardworking laborer and his schoolteacher wife.
Young Ben received his elementary and secondary education in what was the Nicolas School, a tiny building which was located in the center of East Ulvade city park, which was last segregated campus for the city’s black students, operating exclusively for African-Americans from 1938 until 1955.
He then served in the United States Air Force for thirteen years and earned his MBA. In the 1970s, after a period as a Black Nationalist influenced by Malcolm X and the Black Muslims Ben came to Christianity. He began telling people about the Lord on the streets and soon became the director of a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in Killeen, Texas.
In 1971, Ben was ordained in the African Methodist Episcopal Church and founded “His Place,” a ministry for teens. During this time, Ben was invited to be a guest on The 700 Cluband share his testimony of what God was doing through the center. He was asked back to host the show while Robertson was in Israel and later became The 700 Club’s Director of Counseling in 1975, as well as 700 Club co-host and Christian Broadcasting Network vice-president for domestic ministries in 1982, then was promoted to executive vice-president in 1985. He left CBN and The 700 Club in 1996 to pursue an independent ministry.

Ben’s mission remains the same… “Take the Good News to as many people as possible as soon as possible.” Today he is a minister, broadcaster, author and businessman. He travels domestically and internationally as a motivational and inspirational speaker. He is involved in an outreach for Israel which he founded called Americans for Israel for the purpose of reaching out, along with other ministries, to extend a hand of fellowship to God’s chosen people.

Ben’s Heart
Ben had the privilege of traveling the world, to places like the Middle East, Africa, South America, and Europe.
He said, “I’m not sure that people are aware of the privilege of living in America. We are able to live here with biblical principles. If we forget that, we are in danger of losing our freedom here in America.”
He said that we often take what we have for granted because we don’t know what it’s like to live in the rest of the world. Our poverty-stricken areas would be considered upper-middle-class for two-thirds of the world. Ben said we need to pray for others and have an attitude of gratefulness ourselves.
Ben Kinchlow died on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the age of 82.

Ben Kinslow was a true follower of Jesus Christ who loved everyone like Jesus did, Jews are God’s chosen people, true Christians believe in our Lord’s gospel which is to love your neighbor as yourself, go to all the world and preach the gospel, that includes all Jewish people, believers have no need of being saved but non-believers do, that surely involved all races and religions.
It is so awesome to me that Pat Robertson was color blind and choose such a wonderful man like Ben Kinslow to co-host the 700 club, I can’t imagine how many people accepted Christ because of those two true friends🙌👏
